Mr. Solnik graduated as a lawyer-a Barrister & Solicitor- from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, Canada when he was 22, the youngest in his class. Prior to then he graduated at the age of 19 from the University of Toronto with his BA degree, majoring in the sciences and quantum mechanics. Immediately after he became a lawyer he founded the law firm-the Law Offices of Irving Solnik PC.
Previous Employment:
- Mr. Solnik became in house counsel for a growing public company and in a short time he also became sales and marketing manager, advertising and promotion manager and several other executive positions including CEO and COO.
- Subsequently he became CEO of several other diverse companies and obtained invaluable experience not only in law but business as well. Included was a company heavily involved in all aspects of real estate, as a land developer, builder and financier of virtually all types of buildings and land development. He also became a major shareholder in the company that greatly expanded under his direction.
- After being with industry he realized that he sorely missed practicing law. He then divested himself of interests in the various companies and returned full time to the practice of law. "But my great loves are the practice of law and those of business and real estate because of the unique challenges involved. To have the best of both worlds I added business and commercial law to the areas of law I practice when I returned to practice law full time."
